Students of "Ivan Goran Kovacic" school have written an analysis of the Fable: The Frogs Desire a King. Eighth graders Viseslav Dasovic and Leon Horvat translated the piece into English.

For the second year in a row in the Children's Nursery Lapitch, during the festival In The World of Fairy Tales of Ivana Brlić Mažuranić, a creative workshop called Hat festival has been held.

Thestoryteller Sandra Vukoja, on Tuesday at noon, was telling the famous ivana Brlić- Mažuranić's story about Fisherman Palunko, while Antun Mihanović primary school pupils and their guests from Slovenian town of Celje were attentively listening.

The organiser of the debate was the City Library. Subject of discussion was the relationship between parents and children: Whether their relationship should be based on authority or friendly terms?

Projection of the documentary "Ivana Brlić Mažuranić - reality or imagination" was heald in the City Library. It was created by students from Faculty Of Humanities And Social Science from Zadar.

In collaboration with GlobalDreamers, Israel, the United States, and Bulgaria are participating in the celebration of folk and fairy tales.

In the Brod Posavina Museum the visitors can see archaeological excavations from Stružani area, a small village in the east of Brod Posavina County. The exhibition is a result of wide-range researches at the archaeological sites that have been placed on the route 5C, Budapest - Ploče highway, Sredanci - Đakovo section.

Award-winning literary works - 2012

The traditional manifestation "In the world of Ivana Brlić Mažuranić's fairy tales" was opened on Sunday at the city main square "Korzo" (Ivana Brlić Mažuranić's Square) with musical-scenographic magic "Jagor".

Music event, held in Music School on Tuesday, was a feast to audience's ears.

Despite the rain, with the smile on their faces, with the magic music scene, the performed by the drama group of the Primary school Bogoslav Sulek and the Studio for modern and classical dance ?Butterflies?, 40th jubilee were opened on 16th April, 2011.

Debate about friendship that took place in the City Library under the leadership of Sanja Vuleta- It was organized for the children and parents. In the debate 60 children of age between 10 and 15 participated in the debate. The theme was differences between people on the bases of religion and race.

It was magical, and how it´s supposed to be atIvana´s opening week, the week of children, the week of fairy tales. This year the show has been a mix of many Ivana´s works with pieces of modern style.
